Please notice, the PasswordManager from Privacy Suite 11 (2009) is equal to most current PasswordManager 2009. This means you can use both to manage your Pins and Logons.
We've discovered that the Import sometimes could fail because of special Characters in the password. If you are experiencing a refusing password during Safe/Passwordlist import, please open this safe in Predecessor again and change password to "1". After this please import this Safe/Passwordlist in Privacy Suite 11 (2009) again. Please do not forget to change your password in Privacy Suite 11 again (=> Safe => Maintenance).
It may happen, that you have to unhide Hidden system files which could be made visible in:
- Windows XP: Start => All Programs => Tools => Explorer => Menu bar "Tools" => Folderoptions =>View => Advanced Settings => scroll down to "show hidden files and folders" and uncheck "hide protected operating system files" =>Confirm with "OK" and wait a second while Windows Explorer will update the screen.
- Windows VISTA: Start => Computer => Organize => Folder- and Searchoptions => View => scroll down to show hidden files and folders" and uncheck "hide protected operating system files" =>Confirm with "OK" and wait a second while Windows Explorer will update the screen.
Encrypted files that have been created or processed with the File Manager in Steganos Security Suite or Privacy Suite can be used also with Crypt & Hide from most current Privacy Suite 11 (2009).
