  • The NTFS file system is required to use 1 TB per drive in full.
    Using the FAT32 file system, a maximum of 4 GB is possible per secure drive.
  • Secure drives cannot be encrypted on compressed NTFS drives.

*  For Steganos Safe: Extra hard disk space is required for the secure drives.

**  For Portable Safe: optionally CD, DVD or BD burners with corresponding software. Optionally and temporarily up to 50 GB hard drive space for the Portable Safe packet files. Administrator rights are required to install the encryption programme to run Steganos Portable Safe on another computer. Supported key devices: All devices that recognise Windows as a writeable removable medium (e.g. USB sticks, memory cards, digital cameras). Key devices are not included in the package. Restricted functionality: no mailbox encryption on 64-bit operating systems.
